As such, if you plan on using Transmart periodically, you can put your mind at ease by continuing to use the same translator that you like and trust every time you place an order.

If you are using Transmart for the first time, you can narrow down your search through their scores or fields of expertise, and select those that you find suitable as your favorite translators. You can then have a “closed audition” by allowing only the translators you think are suitable to apply for your job order. At Transmart, we encourage our clients to participate in the selection process as much as possible.

Moreover, if your order requires a high level of expertise, or is a routine order with a fixed amount of volume, our staff can help you to choose the translator that will best suit your needs through our “Concierge Service.” Depending on the content, our staff can also help to check the quality of the translation after it is done. As such, all our translators possess the basic minimum skills required to be a professional translator.

As a client, you can also view the translator’s profile such as their basic skills and field of expertise (but none of their personal information will be displayed). Moreover, at Transmart, we use a variety of factors such as their careers, rank-up test scores and other achievements to score our translators. This enables us to match the best translator with the appropriate translation order and volume, and ensure that only high quality translations will be provided to our clients.

Usually, the application will be on-going for the entire 2 hours but:

1. The application will end the moment the client chooses a translator that he/she likes out of those that have applied. When this happens, the translator can begin translating the order immediately.

2. When there are no applicants within the time period, the order will be cancelled automatically. When this happens, before placing the order again, we highly recommend you to try changing the application time to a different time-slot, or extend the delivery due date so that more translators will want to try applying for it.

*For orders with the 90 minute option, the translator will be decided within 30 minutes after the order has been placed.

For orders that are high in volume or require a high level of expertise, please contact our office for consultation. For such orders, we highly recommend the use of our “Concierge Plan” in which we will choose and assign a suitable translator for you.

Prohibitions
All users of our service are prohibited to do any of the following actions:

(1) To infringe or do anything that might infringe the copyright or trademark rights of intellectual properties belonging to Transmart, other users or any third party.
(2) To divulge personal information such as name, address, telephone number, email address etc to a third party
(3) To register multiple email addresses and/or have duplicate member registrations under the same user.
(4) To help a member whose membership has been revoked register as a member again.
(5) To discriminate, slander or defame the name and/or reputation of other users or third parties.
(6) To edit or delete any accessible information pertaining to Transmart or other people.
(7) To impersonate Transmart or other people (including actions such as editing our email header to falsify information).
(8) To send malicious Computer Programs or act in a way that allows others to receive them.
(9) To send advertising or solicitation emails, or emails that bring about unpleasant feelings without permission; to hinder other people from receiving email messages; to request others to forward chain emails.
(10) To hinder or cause obstruction to the business operation of Transmart or others by accessing the facilities (transmission equipment, computer and other software) without authorization, port scanning or performing DOS attack.
(11) To distribute information, equipment or software that can be used to breach or evade the access control function of our servers.
(12) To steal the Member Registration Information of other users without permission and/or use it for phishing purposes.
(13) To use our website or services for marketing or commercial purposes that has not been acknowledged by our company beforehand.
(14) To use our services to obtain licenses and permits unlawfully and/or do anything that is against the law.
(15) To do anything that will obstruct the operation of our service; to obstruct the exchange or sharing of information between other users and third parties; to do anything that will infringe on the property rights or defame the trust of Transmart and other people.
(16) To hinder our business operation by making unnecessary long telephone calls, sending excessive amount of emails with the same content, or making unfeasible demands.
(17) To do anything that is against the law or our Terms of Service aside from the points listed above; to do anything that goes against public order and morals (promoting or sending messages that incite violence, sending brutal images, displaying cruel behaviors etc); to do anything that would bother other people.
(18) To provide links to other websites that promotes any of the above actions or behavior.
(19) To act in any way that is deemed as inappropriate by Transmart.

Our business policy is to always display the amount of money the translator will receive.
Also, in general, the remuneration our translator will receive is calculated by multiplying the number of words with the unit price (for English to Japanese translation), or by multiplying the number of characters with the unit price (for Japanese-English translation). We will accumulate the total every month, and transfer the total after deducting taxes and bank transfer fee to the bank account registered on the 20th day, 2 months after the order has been completed. For orders that are placed directly by our office staff, we will transfer the remuneration on the 20th day of the following month.

Please take note that if you fail to deliver the translation on-time, there will be penalties and depending on how late the delivery is, you might not receive any remuneration at all. At Transmart, we believe that “keeping your deadline” is the most important factor contributing to the trust relationship between clients and translators.

But if the order is still waiting for a translator to be assigned to it, you can cancel it by clicking on the “Cancel” button on the Job Orders Page. However, there is a possibility that some translators have already applied for the order that you are planning to cancel. In such cases, in order to maintain a good image in front of the translators, we highly recommend you to send a message to the translators to inform them of the cancellation.
