Is it possible to change the Registration Type (Translator/Client)?

When you register (for free) with us, you have to choose whether you want to “Register as a Client” or “Register as a Translator”. You cannot change the type of registration once the registration is completed. If you want/have to register with a different type, you have to use a different email address (your email address will be your log-in ID) when registering with us again.

Can I cancel my membership registration?

Please use our Inquiry Form at the bottom of the page and select “Cancellation of Membership Registration” if you want to cancel your membership. We will then deactivate your account. After everything is done, we will inform you via email to let you know that you have successfully cancelled your membership registration. However, please note that at Transmart, our platform keeps track of past records. Thus, please be aware that even though you have cancelled your member registration with us, your past transactions might still be visible under another member’s Transaction History.

Is the membership registration free? Are there any rules?

Registration is free for both our clients and translators. However, after you have logged in, you have to complete your Profile Page first before you can place an order as a client, or apply for jobs as a translator. For translators, you need to pass our Registration Test and have certain amount of skills before we can start to match you up with potential clients; you have to do more than “just register” with us. Moreover, it is absolutely free-of-charge to update your page or take our tests, so please rest assure. Please note that there are rules you have to comply with when you register with us or update your profile page. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the page for more details.

Why haven’t I received the confirmation email for my interim registration?

First of all, make sure that the email addess you use is correct, and that the confirmation email was not delivered to your Junk Mail folder by mistake. Also, there is a chance that the confirmation email couldn’t be delivered to your inbox because of the security setting of your email. This is especially true if you are using your mobile or smart phone to receive your emails. Under your email setting, make sure your email is allowed to receive mails from the domain “trans-mart.net”. The interim registration confirmation email can only be sent once from our system. As such, once you have make certain that you are able to receive the confirmation email from us, please contact us to let us know.

What type of services does TRANSMART provide?

TRANSMART is a Crowdsourcing Translating Service. We aim to become the Business Platform for translators by matching them up with potential clients and reducing any language barriers they might face. – Clients As a client, you can review the translators’ profile and skills first before choosing the one that you think is most suitable for the order you’ve placed. Also, at the beginning, you can refine the selection process of the translators by narrowing their range of scores, and/or holding an open audition to recruit potential translators. -Translators As a translator, you can apply for jobs that are offered openly by the clients. By passing the Translator Tests that we have prepared, and through the experience you gain from the jobs you’ve applied, you will be able to increase your score. We operate TRANSMART with the hope that it will become a Business Platform for all our translators. Furthermore, the translator’s Score (overall point and ★marks) is evaluated and determined using our original scoring system. So everything you do at TRANSMART not only directly affects your Score, but may also help you to gain the trust of potential clients, thereby increasing your chance of getting nominated for a job.
