How do you assign translators?

At Transmart, we subdivide our translators using an original Scoring system that allows clients to choose the translators they want by their score level or personal preferences (i.e. nominated translators) every time they place an order. As such, if you plan on using Transmart periodically, you can put your mind at ease by continuing to use the same translator that you like and trust every time you place an order. If you are using Transmart for the first time, you can narrow down your search through their scores or fields of expertise, and select those that you find suitable as your favorite translators. You can then have a “closed audition” by allowing only the translators you think are suitable to apply for your job order. At Transmart, we encourage our clients to participate in the selection process as much as possible. Moreover, if your order requires a high level of expertise, or is a routine order with a fixed amount of volume, our staff can help you to choose the translator that will best suit your needs through our “Concierge Service.” Depending on the content, our staff can also help to check the quality of the translation after it is done. What should I do if I’m not able to meet my deadline?

This is a huge problem. If you realize that you won’t be able to meet your deadline, please contact TRANSMART as soon as possible. At TRANSMART, regardless of the reason, our strict business policy requires us to give big penalties for all late deliveries. All translators have checked and applied for the job at their own discretion, so when you are not able to deliver your translations on time, your remuneration for the job might be reduced or withdrawn completely depending on how late you are. Also, your score as a translator will be reduced, and if you fail to meet your deadline more than 3 times in 6 months, your registration as a translator will be deleted. Even though it is easy to raise your score up again, it is very difficult for you to regain the trust that the clients have placed in you. Hence, in order to make sure you don’t miss your deadline, you have to manage your schedule properly and be sure to apply only for jobs you are sure you can handle.
