At TRANSMART, we will never force our translators to take a job against their will.
When and what kind of job they want to accept all depends on the translators themselves. All translators have the freedom to accept only orders that they feel comfortable with in terms of the deadline and volume. It is possible to accept orders even if they have a day job and are only available to translate at night or during the weekends.
Under the “Translating Skill Information” section, translators can specify the days and time frame that are available to them to work on their translations. As this information can be viewed by the clients and will be taken into consideration by them when making job offers, we highly recommend all our translators to be truthful and specify the actual amount of time they have to work on their translations.
